Topic Modelling on covid tweets

I had the amazing opportunity to work with a research team at NTU. The SenticNet team is a research lab that focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP). We were given the freedom to work on an NLP project that we are interested in and with the support of the other researchers, we were able to learn about the fields in NLP and applied them for our report. I personally worked on topic modelling with LDA. You can further read about my contribution and others in our report below:

OWLO was a very big project that i am very proud of. To list the details here will do little justice to show the immense effort that went into this project. The project consisted of UI design and prototyping, UX Research, and development on .NET

Sustainable Alternative E-Commerce utilizing AI

In this project, i scraped and annotated my own data with RPA and LabelStudio, then fine-tuned a pretrained BERT model to extract aspects and used those extracted aspects for aspect based sentiment analysis. I also used sentence-transformer to build a content based recommendation system that looks and compares on the similarity of a product based on its description.

The project was built using node js. I used tensorflow, and hugging face for the deep learning models. Afterwards i dockerized the models and deployed them to both azure and google cloud platform.

NYP Gymnastic App

IOS App to book your gym appointments.

Through a 5 day Diploma Plus programme, we were tasked to build an application that utilizes the swift programming language and Xcode's IDE. We built a Gymnastic IOS app where users can book appointments for specific trainers and equipment, and in light of the covid-19 pandemic this app can be use for contact tracing as well.

TutorHub

Build Your Skills With Tutors And learners Alike!

As one of the businesses which are affected greatly by Covid-19, Tuition businesses have to undergo digital transformation for a more reliable source of revenue. Why we say this is because tuition businesses often experience peaks and troughs in revenue. E.g. More income during exam periods, Less income during holiday seasons.

There are 4 Main Users: Admin, Tutee, Tutor, Institutions

• It is a platform which brings together teachers and learners alike; All users who sign up will be a learner by default. Even after registering as a tutor, learning capabilities (registering for courses) are still applicable.
• TutorHub operates by shifting tuition services online but not losing out on the interactive aspect. (Sessions will be conducted live to ensure lessons are interactive.)

It was initially developed with Flask, we have recently moved to using NodeJS, Express and MySQL

Car Loan Trends In Singapore

Analytical dashboard analyzing the performance of car loans and uncovering hidden patternsp>

By utilizing Tableau and Tableau Prep builder. I was able to create a preprocessing workflow, clean the data and analyze it and find relationships in the data.

By analyzing and cross referencing the data with news sources, i found the negative consequence of a MAS policy to the performance of the car loans. After the revelation, i proposed a strategy that may overcome the challenge that were impose by the policy.

Digitally transform your business now!

As part of my Fundamentals of Innovation and Entreprise Project and my first introduction to Design thinking. I utilized empathy, definition, ideation, prototyping and testing to create a solution that could encourage SMEs in singapore to undergo a Digital Transformation process.

During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw many countries go into lockdown and business having to close down to abide by the regulations, however businesses that were quick adopters of the digital space found themselves in a fortunate situation. With most people and potential customers on their computing devices at home, we saw a huge spike in user traffic across different websites and applications. Armed with this knowledge and knowing they are still alot of businesses that are yet to adopt the digital space, we developed GrowBiz!

Through surveying, creating personas and plotting journey maps and pain points. We understand that businesses that have yet to adopt digital technology, are those whose management is reluctant or unsure of how digital technology might be beneficial. Therefore we developed GrowBiz that acts as a middleman to connect between traditional businesses and digital-services offering companies

MyBio

A Medical Services Ordering System

After being selected for a trip to New Delhi, India to attend and participate at the International Exhibition for Young Inventors. My group and I decided to pursue a project in the health category. We proposed and with the help of our teachers developed a prototype for MyBio. MyBio, is an ambitious application to improve the efficiency of processing lab test and bringing the service directly to patients!

The experience has made me appreciate the wonders of software and business. With those 2 combined, I realized the many things that it can do for us. From disrupting and providing new opportunities to improving existing operations and accessibility. Besides the work, I had the opportunity to learn about the other team's projects and we bonded through shared experiences and philosophies.

Besides earning gold, maybe the real award is the friends we made along the way!

Call For Help

Utilizing IBM Watson to reduce response time to emergencies.

With the increasingly aging population and a growing segment of vulnerable populations in mind, how might we leverage analytics for better sense-making to be alerted at the onset of incidents which require emergency response and mobilise CFRs for effective early intervention especially to the vulnerable population?

Therefore we will be making use of IBM Watson to craft an application to reduce response time when it comes to emergency situations(Medical or Fire) by alerting CFRs and professionals. And better prepare reponders with the right resources for the appropriate situation.

On my very first semester, I was introduced to HTML, CSS and JS

Shortly after graduating from ITE and then enrolling to NYP. I was introduced to HTML, CSS and JS which i utilized to develop my very own website that similar to this, shows the work i did and some blog i wrote. I took inspiration from Classic-Magazine's website for the design of my website. I enjoyed being able to express my sense of style freely!
